Corporate Services

The Corporate Services Department performs a variety of functions in accordance with provincial legislative requirements and Council direction to support transparency and accountability in the governing process. An annual allocation is made to a reserve for election costs so that the financial impact of holding the election is stabilized year to year. As well, the Corporate Services Department is responsible for a series of corporate strategic initiatives and assists other departments with their projects as required.
