General Information
The 2026 election will be conducted through internet and telephone voting by Intelivote Systems Incorporated, a Canadian owned and operated company. Eligible electors will be provided a “voting period” of thirteen (13) days to vote. The “Voting Period” will start on Wednesday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m. and run until October 26, 2026 at 8:00 p.m.. This means eligible electors in the Township can cast their ballot anytime during the voting period, anywhere from a touch tone telephone or available internet location including the comfort of their own home.
Before voting begins, all eligible electors will receive a Voter Information Letter in the mail. This letter will include important details about how to vote, including voting dates, Voter Help Centres, and instructions. Electors are encouraged to review their Voter Information Letter carefully and keep it in a safe place until they are ready to vote.
