Recreation Fee Assistance Program

The Township of Oro-Medonte, in partnership with We Are The Villagers, is committed to making recreation accessible to all residents. Through the Recreation Fee Assistance Program, eligible residents can receive financial assistance to help reduce the cost of participating in recreational activities.

Mission Statement:​

To strengthen Community through programs, services, parks and facilities that promote healthy lifestyles, connect families and neighbours, recognize culture and heritage; thereby enriching the quality of life in Oro-Medonte.

The Township of Oro-Medonte Recreation and Community Services Department ha​s 7 primary functions:

  1. Provision, Management, and Maintenance of Facilities​
  2. Community Development and Volunteer Management
  3. Park and Trails Management, Development and Operations
  4. Recreational and Special Event Programming
  5. Culture and Heritage​

 The Recreation and Community Services Department provides activities through following services:

  • Administration
  • Parks and Sports Fields
  • Recreation Facilities
  • Programs and Special Events
  • Community Halls
  • Libraries
  • Heritage Committee
