Update Regarding the City of Barrie's Boundary Expansion Request
The Provincial Land and Development Facilitator (“OPLDF”) has requested that all Parties involved with the City of Barrie’s (“the City”) boundary expansion request, defer voting on the City’s Restructuring Proposals at this time, while the OPLDF continues to facilitate discussions pertaining to reaching a mutually acceptable agreement.
Given this request, please note Township of Oro-Medonte Council did not vote on the City’s proposed Restructuring Proposal at the Wednesday, October 22nd Council meeting. An information report is available for review regarding the OPLDF’s request. More details will be shared as they are available.
