Construction Notice
The Site Servicing and Earthworks for Landscape Drive Phase 4 of the Horseshoe Valley Lands Development has been awarded to:
Maacon Construction Corp.
A map of construction area has been provided at the rear of this page for reference.
The contractor is preparing to mobilize for construction by September 28, 2026, with tree clearing commencing in advance of this work. During this time the roadway will remain open to local traffic. Construction vehicles will be accessing the site via the 4th Line apart from the contractor’s personnel vehicles.
Construction works will include Tree Clearing, Earthworks, Watermain, Sanitary, and Storm servicing works, and Roadworks up to base asphalt.
Working hours will be from 7:00AM to 7:00PM from Monday to Friday. Please be advised that work may occur occasionally on Saturdays.

How will I get to my property?
Vehicle access to your home will be always provided during the construction period.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
Water service, for those already connected to Town water will not be affected. Notice of such occurrences will be provided ahead of time.
Telephone, Cable TV, and Gas services should not be affected by the construction, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Mail delivery will not be interrupted, as pedestrian access to your home will be maintained throughout the construction period.
Garbage Collection & Recycling
No interruptions to collection of garbage from your property is anticipated during the course of construction.
Heavy Construction involves the use of heavy equipment and poses many dangers to the public.
These circumstances often lead to curiosity with children and residents, and as such, we request that you caution them to stay clear of any work zones.
The work zones will be delineated, and signage will be posted to warn residents of the dangers in the vicinity and prohibit un-authorized access to work areas.
