Have you ever thought of becoming a firefighter? Did you know that nearly all the firefighters in Oro-Medonte are volunteer firefighters? This means that in addition to filling the role of first responders for the municipality, they are also employed full time in many other capacities. All our firefighters are certified to NFPA 1001 Firefighter II as a minimum qualification.
What does it mean to join our team?
We're looking for individuals who want to make a difference and have a desire to serve. People who are willing to put the end user first.
This means you have the time it takes to train, respond to calls, and become involved with community events.
