Oro-Medonte Tourism Ambassador Certificate Program

Welcome to the start of your Oro-Medonte Township Tourism Ambassador​ journey. In this FREE interactive online learning certificate program, you will move through six (6) interactive and engaging eLearning modules. When people visit our Township, the first people they meet usually shape their experience. The first point of contact may be staff at a restaurant, food truck, shop, gas station, tourist attraction, event, or interacting with a local resident who gives them first hand suggestions or directions. Everyone can serve as a Tourism Ambassador! First impressions leave a lasting impression.

Each module includes a lesson, scenarios, and short assignments​ or knowledge checks. Lessons are made up of videos, information, links, maps, visuals, tidbits, quotes, and much more to keep you engaged and intrigued to learn more. You are welcome to complete this certificate program in segments, modules, or as a whole. As you scroll through the modules, your progress will be captured no matter how you choose to complete your elearning. The last section is an overview of the partnerships and contributors who have assisted in the development of this program.​​

How Does It Work?

The training program consists of six (6) eLearning modules, in total it will take approximately 90 minutes to two (2) hours to complete.

3. Learn about local Arts & Culture
4. Explore the wonders of the four seasons in Oro-Medonte
5. Year-round experiences in Oro-Medonte
6. Plan a visit to Oro-Medonte​

How to Begin:
