Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning across much of Southern Ontario indicating significant ice accretion from freezing rain for our area. 

Oro-Medonte Council will be holding a hybrid Special Council Meeting/Education Session pertaining to enforcement/prosecution matters relating to Short Term Rental Accommodations (STRs) under the Township of Oro-Medonte Comprehensive Zoning By-law 97-95, on October 16, 2024 commencing at 4:30 p.m.  The public is invited to attend in person or virtually.

Please be advised, the Special Council Meeting that was scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024 has been cancelled.

The Township of Oro-Medonte has initiated an environmental assessment following Schedule B of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Process to establish the preferred method to address drainage deficiencies, reduce flooding, resolve public safety concerns, and improve maintenance opportunities along Warminster Sideroad from 1920 Warminster Sideroad to Town Line.
