Declaration of Significant Weather Event - February 7, 2025

Environment Canada has issued weather warnings across Simcoe County for Snow Squall Warning for Snow Accumulation. These conditions could create conditions favourable for localized hazards:

  •  Additional local snowfall with accumulations of 15 to 20 cm
  • Winds causing drifting snow
  • Very poor to near zero visibility at times in heavy snow

As a result, the Township of Oro-Medonte is declaring this Significant Weather Event under O. Reg 239/02 effective Friday, February 7, 2025 At 12:30 pm, until further notice.
