Declaration of Significant Weather Event - February 15, 2025
Environment Canada has issued a Winter Storm Warning across Simcoe County indicating a winter storm and snowfall warning for our area. These conditions are favourable for the development of fast accumulating snow, near zero visibility, and blowing snow due to winds. The forecast includes snowfalls in excess of 30 cm’s, peak snowfall rates of 5 cm’s per hour.
As a result, the Township of Oro-Medonte is declaring this Significant Weather Event under O. Reg 239/02 effective February, 15, 2025 at 9:30 p.m. until further notice.
