Declaration of Significant Weather Event - December 27, 2025
Environment Canada has issued weather warnings across Ontario, including winter storm warnings for Oro-Medonte, which could create conditions favourable for widespread hazards, including fast accumulation of ice from accumulated freezing rain, followed by additional local snowfall with heavy accumulation. The storm may include strong winds, and create rapidly deteriorating conditions.
As a result, the Township of Oro-Medonte is declaring this Significant Weather Event under O. Reg 239/02 effective Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 11:00 p.m. until further notice.
