ATV/ORV Information
At the October 27, 2021 Council Meeting it was recommended that Council consider authorizing to permit specified municipal roadways for a designated COATV Trail Network subject to public feedback on the proposal, and amendments to By-law 2019-079, to continue to restrict off road vehicle use in select settlement areas subject to further review.

Drivers are reminded that ATV and ORV vehicles must be operated and equipped in accordance with Ontario Regulation 316/03 and the Highway Traffic Act. The maximum speed permitted is 20 km/h on roads that are posted less than 50 km/h, and a maximum speed of 50 km/h on roads that are posted greater than 50 km/h.
