Short Term Accommodations Update

With the arrival of spring and summer quickly approaching, the Township is takin​g this opportunity to provide residents of Oro-Medonte with information regarding short term accommodations in the township.​

2023 Summer Camp Guide​

​The Township's 2023 Summer Camp G​uide has been released​. Online Summer Camp registration will open on April 12, 2023 at 8:00am. Summer Camp registration must be completed online via our online recreation portal: PerfectMind.​

​2023 Street Sweeping Program

​The Township's 2023 Street Sweeping Program is scheduled to begin on April 11, 2023 with Zone 1, and then proceed to Zone 2, followed by Zones 3 and 4, with rural zones completed after the residential areas.
Ontario Parks Vehicle Permit Lending Program

​Ready to explore Ontario Parks?​​ Borrow a free day use pass and plan your next outdoor adventure.

The Ontario Parks Pass is a borrowable vehicle permit that provides day use access to over 100 Provincial Parks for all occupants in your vehicle.

How do I borrow an Ontario Parks Pass?

​You're able to put a pass ON HOLD  and check it out for up to one week. Please call or email 705-487-2171 Extension 2133 or email csr@oro-medonte.ca Please note, borrowed passes must be returned promptly.​

Where is the Pick up and Drop off Location?

​You’re able to pick up and return the passes at the Administrative Centre located at 148 7 Line South, Oro-Station, ON between the hours of 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Monday – Friday. Returns can be dropped off in the after hours drop box at the Administrative Centre​.

What does the Ontario Parks Pass cover?

​The pass covers the cost of park admission, is valid for day use only and does not cover overnight stays or the costs of renting equipment.​

How long can I rent my pass for?

The passes are able to be signed out for a one-week borrowing period.​​

I have borrowed an Ontario Parks Pass. What do I do now?

Visit the  Ontario Parks Pass blog to learn more about all the exciting ways to use your pass, and to understand all of the borrowing conditions at the parks. We recommend that you plan ahead. Park capacity limits still apply and parks close when they are full.​

What happens if I lose or don't return the pass?

You are responsible for returning the pass at the end of the one-week borrowing period. A replacement fee for the pass ($200) will be charged for passes that are not returned on time. ​​

February 22, 2023 - Enbridge Gas Inc. and Oro-Medonte Fire & Emergency Services announced they are working together to improve home safety and bring fire and carbon monoxide-related deaths down to zero.

parties of the scheduled Oro-Medonte BX10 Culvert Replacement and subsequent Closure of
Line 10 North between Old Barrie Road and 15/16 Sideroad, East Oro in the
