Simcoe County Waste Collection Contract Changes

The County's new waste collections contract is set to commence November 2021. The service method of this new contract will be automated cart collection, continuing to utilize every other week ​collection of garbage and recycling on offsetting weeks with weekly organic pick-ups. While the collection frequency will not change, collection days and times will be affected.​ MORE INFO​

2021 Tree Seedling Distribution Program

Severn Sound Environmental Association and the Township of Oro-Medonte are working together to provide residents with reasonably priced, native tree and shrub seedlings for planting in early spring 2021. 

Tree seedlings must be pre-ordered. The deadline for ordering is Friday, January 15th, 2021.

Enbridge Gas Assists Oro-Medonte Fire & Emergency Services in Supporting Firefighter Training

Enbridge Gas is helping Oro-Medonte Fire & Emergency Services purchase firefighting training materials, through Project Assist–a program that supplements existing training for Ontario volunteer and composite fire departments in the communities where Enbridge operates.

MPC
