​Parking – Winter Recreational Activities

The Township has parking lots that provide off-road parking close to Lake Simcoe, being Bayview Memorial Park and the Line 9 Boat Launch. These parking lots offer free parking. In addition to these parking lots, there are private off-road parking areas located near access points to Lake Simcoe which are available for a fee.

In recognition of the winter recreational benefits enjoyed by people using Lake Simcoe, parking along specific roads is permitted for winter recreational activities on Lake Simcoe. To assist individuals looking to park along Township roads, while enjoying Lake Simcoe in the winter, click on the attached link for maps outlining the permitted parking areas for winter recreational activities.

Parking Permitted for Winter

Parking is permitted, for recreational purposes between October 15th and April 30th inclusive, along the roadways of the locations set below, any vehicle parked within the locations identified shall not be deemed to be interfering with winter road maintenance.
