Committee of Adjustment

 

Committee of Adjustment meetings are generally held on the third Thursday of every month at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the Township Administration Centre.

Council has delegated, to the Oro-Medonte Committee of Adjustment, the authority for the giving of consents under Section 53 of the Planning Act, 1990, in respect of lands within the Township limits, subject to the provisions of Section 54 of the Planning Act and have empowered the Oro-Medonte Committee of Adjustment to grant minor variances from the provisions of any by-law of the municipality that implements an official plan, or from such by-laws of the municipality as are specified and that implement an official plan, subject to the provisions of Section 45 of the Planning Act.
